Popslime – Turn a Small Fighter Into a Slime-Clearing Machine

At first, the arena doesn't look particularly dangerous. A few slimes wander around, your Archer takes care of nearby enemies, and gold starts piling up. Give it some time, though, and those little monsters become much harder to deal with. Popslime is an action RPG with idle mechanics where you clear enemies, collect loot, and spend your earnings on upgrades that make the next run more rewarding.

Sweep Through the Arena

You don't need to chase every slime individually. Move your cursor ring across the arena to pop enemies while your Archer and towers attack automatically. Four additional skills help deal with larger groups: Lightning Chain, Rain of Arrows, Knight Slash, and Vampire Explosion.

Every defeated monster can drop gold or useful loot. Bring those rewards into your next upgrade session rather than expecting your starting setup to handle everything. The further you progress, the more important damage improvements and extra support become.

Your Upgrade Choices Shape the Run

There's quite a lot to unlock here. The 167-node upgrade tree includes improvements to combat and access to new systems. You can strengthen eight Archer abilities, build five tower types, and discover extra powers through the Mysterious Well.

Rarer equipment also gives you something to work toward. Collect runes with six rarity levels, mine ores, and turn them into gems with different stat bonuses. You have three gem slots to experiment with, so changing your setup can make a difference to how quickly you clear enemies. Shiny monsters are worth hunting as well, since their bonuses remain useful beyond a single run.

Beyond the Main Campaign

There are 40 stages to get through in Popslime, and the monsters don't get any easier along the way. Once you've cleared them, you can head into Endless Mode and see how long your current build can hold up.

Not every run has to be about pushing through another stage. Boss Runs let you take on Slime Overlords, while Treasure Runs are all about finding and popping reward-filled chests. If you'd rather spend less time repeating the same tasks, the Automator can handle runs and buy upgrades for you.
