Every garden has to start somewhere, and in Joy Garden, that means making the most of a few empty plots. This 3D farming game lets you grow different plants, collect crops, catch bugs, and sell your goods for Gold. You'll need that money to buy more seeds, improve your equipment, and gain access to other gardens.
Look at the seed bar along the bottom of the screen and choose what you want to grow. Click an empty plot to plant the seed. When your supply runs out, select the seed slot to purchase more.
Your job isn't finished once the seeds are planted. Watch the plants as they grow and water any that droop and display a water-drop icon. Check back later to see which crops are ready. A sparkling plant can be harvested, and its produce will be added to your inventory.
While checking your crops, look out for bugs around the garden. Use your net to catch them. They aren't just a distraction; you can sell them at the Market to earn extra Gold.
When you have collected enough items, open the Market, select the crops and bugs you want to trade, and press Sell. The money you receive can go toward your next batch of seeds or something that helps you manage the garden.
Spending Gold is part of the challenge. More seeds help you fill unused plots, while additional land gives you room to grow more plants. You can also purchase sprinklers, bug-catching birds, and auto-harvest equipment to reduce some manual tasks.
There are six gardens to unlock and 40 plant varieties to discover. Daily missions, achievements, and seven-day rewards offer extra goals while you work toward expanding your farm.
Use your mouse or touchpad to interact with the game. Check plants regularly, harvest sparkling crops, catch bugs when they appear, and think about your next purchase before spending all your Gold.
Start with the space you have, sell what you collect, and expand when your earnings allow it. A little planning can help turn your first plots into a much larger garden.
