Unbox the Room
Moving into a new place means dealing with one thing first: boxes. Unbox the Room turns that familiar job into a cozy puzzle game where you unpack belongings and figure out where everything should go. There is no frantic action here. You can take your time, look around the room, and slowly make the space feel lived in.
Start Unpacking
Each level gives you a room and a collection of unopened boxes. Click a box to see what is inside, then pick up the items one by one. You might find clothes, books, toys, kitchenware, toiletries, electronics, or decorations. The objects are different, but they all have something in common: they need a proper place.
Finding the Right Spot
This is where the puzzle comes in. A book may belong on a shelf, clothes can go inside a wardrobe, and kitchen items usually have a place near the cooking area. Some choices are obvious, while others take a little more searching.
Look at the furniture around you before putting an item down. Sometimes the best location is not the first empty space you notice.
When the Room Gets Crowded
The later rooms leave less space to work with. Shelves become full, drawers have limited room, and several objects may need to share the same area. If something does not fit, move a few things around and try again. There is no need to rush. A bit of rearranging can make the difference between a cluttered corner and a properly organized room.
Controls
- Click: Pick up an item or interact with a box.
- Drag and drop: Move an item and place it where you think it belongs.
- Touchscreen: Tap an item, then drag it into place.
Gameplay Experience
Unbox the Room has a quiet, satisfying rhythm. Opening a box gives you another small task, and placing the last few objects can completely change how a room looks. The belongings also give little hints about the person who lives there, so each finished space feels slightly different.
