A corner can make or break a run in Drift Masters. Turn too late, and your car may end up against a barrier. Pull off a clean slide, though, and you'll earn coins for your effort. This 3D driving game puts the focus on controlling the car while it moves sideways, rather than simply racing toward a finish line. You can take the wheel on a race track, through a city, or on a snowy course. Each location gives you a different place to practise.
Find a clear stretch of road and build up some speed. As a corner approaches, steer toward the bend and press Space to use the handbrake. The car should begin to slide; your next job is to guide it around the turn without letting it drift into an obstacle.
The timing takes a little getting used to. If you keep spinning out, try braking earlier or entering the corner at a lower speed. Once you can manage a short slide, work on holding it for longer. Coins come from drifting, so staying in control is more useful than rushing through every turn.
Drift Masters also gives you nitro. Press F to activate it when you want a burst of speed, but think about the road ahead first. Extra acceleration isn't much help if you're about to enter a tight corner and can no longer control the car.
You can experiment with gear shifts, too. Don't worry about mastering every feature immediately; get comfortable steering and using the handbrake before adding more things to manage.
The race track is a practical place to practise repeated turns. The city changes the scenery, while the snowy course offers another environment to try. Move between locations when you want a change of pace.
