Crazy Taxi is a simple arcade driving game where you play as a taxi driver trying to move passengers across busy roads. The game was created and released by OzGames and focuses on quick decisions rather than complex controls.
Every run begins with your taxi waiting at the roadside. A passenger appears nearby, and your job is to reach them, pick them up, and drive to the next stop. The problem is that the road never stays empty. Cars keep passing through intersections, and hitting any of them ends the run immediately.
Because of that, the challenge is not speed. The real challenge is choosing the right moment to move.
When the game starts, your taxi waits at an intersection with vehicles moving across the road. To reach a passenger, you must drive forward through these gaps without colliding with traffic. After picking someone up, another destination appears further down the road. Deliver the passenger safely to earn coins and continue driving. Each successful delivery increases your score and adds more pressure because traffic keeps moving. The longer you survive, the more passengers you can transport. Coins earned during runs can be used later to unlock new vehicles.
The game moves quickly, but every decision matters. Some intersections look safe at first, then suddenly fill with cars. That moment of hesitation—deciding whether to move or wait—is what keeps the game interesting. A perfect run usually happens when you stay patient and move only when the road truly opens. Unlocking new vehicles also adds variety. Different cars change the feeling of each run, making long sessions feel less repetitive.
